Yasser Ashraf Gandomi is selected as the "2018 winner of The Industrial Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Engineering (IEEE) Student Achievement Award" (Link for the news)

"The Industrial Electrochemistry and Electrochemical Engineering (IEEE) Student Achievement Award" is an international award from Electrochemical Society (ECS). "The IEEE Student Achievement Award" was established in 1989 to recognize young engineers and scientists in the field of electrochemical engineering. Our latest work on the high-performance polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells has been featured in the latest technical report to DOE.

Yasser Ashraf Gandomi gave a talk entitled "Passive Mitigation of Capacity Decay in Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries through Asymmetric Cell Configuration" at the "231th Electrochemical Society (ECS) Meeting and Electrochemical Energy Summit" at New Orleans, Louisiana on May 29. (US patent filed for the novel cell design presented in this work).
